What is an estate sale?
Sometimes referred to as a Tag Sale, an Estate Sale is a way for a person to liquidate the contents of their home.
Who needs an estate sale?
There are many reasons to hold an estate sale, including general downsizing, relocating, divorce, and death of a loved one.
Who can attend an estate sale?
Anyone! Our doors are open for all customers. If you are in the need for furniture, home decor, collectibles, or just want to look around, you are welcome.
What do you charge clients?
Please contact us directly to discuss our fees.
What are your hours?
Hours of each sale can vary dependent upon location and situation. Dates and times are always listed on estate sale websites and our Upcoming Sales section.
What payment do you accepts?
We prefer cash, but also accept PayPal, Venmo, and credit. Credit does incur a 5% convenience charge.
Do you charge sales tax?
No.
Are there any items you don't sell?
For legal purposes, we do not sell alcohol, taxidermy, or guns.
Can I bring my own bags?
You are more than welcome to bring your own bags and packing material to our sales. As a safety precaution, Rediscovered Goods does reserve the right to check your bags before you leave the sale.
Can you help me move a large item I purchased?
No, for the safety of our employees we cannot assist in moving furniture or other large purchases. While we have some basic tools on hand for disassembling furniture, we ask that you bring proper tools and help to move your purchases.
I changed my mind about an item I bought, or it doesn't work as I hoped. Can I return it?
No, sorry. Because of the limited time schedule that estate sales function on, we do not accept returns. All items are sold as is, and all sales are final. Please be sure to carefully inspect any items before purchasing.
I see an item at a future sale that I would like to buy. Can I pre-purchase it?
Generally speaking, we will not sell anything before doors open. On occasion some items may be available for pre-sale, and if so it will be notated in the event listing.
